9. Soil Core Wall/Soil Shed
The soil core is on permanent display in the Soil Shed where it shows many different soil types, 3 glacial events that occurred on the area, and dates all the way back to almost one million years! A 60 foot concrete wall was constructed to display our soil core taken just north of the area. The Mo Association of Professional Soil Scientists has other soil displays and activities available upon request.
